Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Sortie ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Sortie after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Sortie. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should have parental consent.

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You must not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of someone else.
• You must provide accurate information during signup and keep your profile honest.
• We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these terms, without prior notice.

You retain ownership of content you post (clips, bios, messages). By uploading content to Sortie you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and deliver that content to other users as part of the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. We do not pre-screen content but we reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion, at any time, for any reason.

Content must comply with our Community Guidelines. Prohibited content includes but is not limited to: pornographic or sexually explicit material, content depicting real violence or gore, material that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, and content that violates any applicable law.

• You may upload up to 7 clips per 7-day rolling window.
• Individual files must not exceed 50 MB.
• Only video files in MP4, MOV, WEBM, AVI, or MKV format are accepted.
• Clips must be gameplay footage. Non-gaming content, edited misleading content, or content featuring other people without their consent is not permitted.
• Clips must be your own gameplay. To be eligible for weekly prizes (skins) you must be able to prove the clip is yours — for example a matching in-game name or account. Clips that are not your own, including re-uploaded or stolen footage, are disqualified and may be removed.
• We may remove clips that receive multiple reports or that we determine violate these terms.

Messages and connection requests may only be sent to other registered users. Use of the messaging system to harass, threaten, spam, or solicit other users is prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.

Rate limits apply to protect all users from spam. Attempting to circumvent these limits is a violation of these terms.

You agree not to:

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or rank
• Harass, bully, or threaten other users
• Post or distribute NSFW, explicit, or pornographic content
• Upload content you do not own or have rights to
• Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform
• Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to interact with the Platform
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities — report them to us instead

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:

• Remove any content that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines
• Suspend or permanently ban any account, with or without warning
• Take action on reported content without being obligated to notify the content creator

Account bans are non-negotiable in cases of serious violations (explicit content, harassment campaigns, attempted hacking).

The Sortie name, logo, and all original platform content are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any part of the Platform without written permission.

Game names, ranks, and icons (League of Legends, Valorant, Teamfight Tactics) are the property of their respective owners. Sortie is not affiliated with Riot Games.

Sortie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sortie and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data or interactions with other users.

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access at any time for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
